How accurate are the rankings?
Each check runs a fresh Google search for the country, language, city and device you pick, and we read the organic results exactly as returned. Rankings you see in your own browser can differ because Google personalises results based on your history, login and precise location.
How deep do you check?
We scan the top 100 organic results. If your site isn't among them, the position shows as “—” (not ranking).
Why is my ranking different from what I see?
Your own searches are personalised. Try an incognito window with location set to the same city — or trust the neutral result we fetch, which is what a new visitor sees.
Are paid ads or map results counted?
No. Positions are organic only. Ads, local map packs, “People also ask” and other widgets are skipped.
Does it include subdomains?
By default, yes — blog.example.com counts for example.com. In a project you can switch to “exact host only” or “exact URL”.
How often are rankings updated?
On paid plans, every keyword is updated automatically once a day. You can also click “Check now” any time, up to your daily on-demand limit.
Can I track mobile rankings?
Yes. Set the device to Mobile when creating a project.
Can I track local rankings in my city?
Yes. Add a city such as “Udaipur, Rajasthan, India” to your project and results will be fetched as if searching from there.
Can I export reports?
Yes — every project can be exported to CSV and opened in Excel or Google Sheets.
Is there a limit on the free checker?
Guests can check up to 20 keywords at a time and 50 per day. Create a free account for more.
